Tonight! Wednesday Night Bible Reading, Nov. 11, 7pm, St Timothy Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Rd. Walkersville.  Starting with "In the beginning," the Bible is being read aloud from beginning to end on Wednesday nights from 7- 9pm at St. Timothy Church. All are welcome to participate by reading or just listening as we read God's Holy Word together—this week we will read chapters 24 to 27 from the book of Leviticus and chapters 1 to 15 from the book of Numbers. Contact David Williams for more information: davidjudywilliams@comcast.net

St. John Regional Catholic School, a 2009 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, will hold a Fall Open House. “When You Find Yourself Single Again,” Saturday, Nov. 14, 10am-Noon, St. Timothy Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville.  A support group for individuals, who are separated, divorced or widowed.  Adults from all area parishes are welcome.  Childcare will not be provided.  For information, contact Andrea at 301-695-9156 or Joanne at 301-302-7100.

Fall Fun Run, November 14 (rain or shine), ARCC Athletic Fields at Mount St. Mary’s University Campus, Emmitsburg.  Mother Seton School, invites you to a fun activity for the whole family to be held at the. Events include a 5k Run/Walk for individuals and teams, a 1 Mile Run open to all ages, and a 200 Meter Kid Dash for 7 years and under and parents with strollers.  Cost for the 5k is $15 per runner or $50 per team of 4, $12 for the 1 Mile, and $5 per child for the Kid Dash.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  Kid Dash begins at 9:15 a.m., 1 Mile begins at 9:30 a.m., 5k Run/Walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Free 5k T-shirt (for 5k event only) if registered by Nov. 1. Giving Thanks, Sunday, November 15, 2pm, Msgr. O'Dwyer Retreat House, Sparks, MD.  A Day of Reflection for persons with developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers, and friends.  The event will feature Fr. Marty Nocchi as the presenter and Mass celebrant. There will be activities, snacks and a pizza party after Mass. The cost is $15.00 per person. For more information, wflemming@archbalt.org

Old Fashioned Bingo: Thanksgiving Theme, Sunday, Nov. 15, Mother Seton School, Emmitsburg. Story/Craft Time for Preschoolers, Wed., November 18, 8:30-9:30am, St. Mary’s School, Hagerstown.  If you have a preschool aged child, please consider coming to this fun event.
